EQV worldwide Film Services, has more than 15 years of involvement in diverse film projects across numerous countries, including the United States, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Mexico, South Africa, Portugal, Belgium, Russia, France and many others.
The company’s portfolio includes contributions to foreign productions such as "Q Viva The Chosen," produced by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony; the English film "Paddington Bear," produced by David Heyman (known for the Harry Potter films); "The Bozze Traveler" by Travel Channel; "Keeping up with the Kardashians"; HGTV's "House Hunter International"; and Discovery Channel's "Naked and Afraid," among many others.
Our work has been showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design of Costa Rica. Furthermore, produced more than 15 documentary feature films addressing various social issues, including "Ocean Symphony" for RAI TV Italy, documentaries for the European company Team Sauerland, and others.
EQV was a producer-tutor for the Chelsea Film Festival Incubator program in New York, where he oversaw the production of five short films by new BIPOC directors across the city's five boroughs, alongside Oscar-winning screenwriter Martin Strange-Hansen.
He has been a special guest at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Chelsea Film Festival of New York delegation from 2022 to 2025 editions. In 2024, he was the executive producer of Hernán Jiménez's stand-up comedy "Gato x Liebre", which was shown in all Costa Rican cinemas for six weeks, and also of the film "Abril" by renowned Costa Rican director Hernán Jiménez.
EQV is producing the Costa Rican - British co-production “Black Gold” (working title), which is currently in development. The project was announced at Cannes Film Festival 2025. Currently attached to the project is Executive Producer Deepak Sikka (The King's Speech - who won 4 Academy Awards in 2011), writer Jeremy Sheldon ( Head of Development for Academy Award nominated film First Reformed in 2019), Producer Joshua Harris (One Night Only, won Best Director in The British Horror Film Festival, 2024) and Costa Rican Actor - Producer José Palma (Batman – Venom)
